If "it
is high time or it is time " remain
in the sentence then follow,the sentense will be
completed following simple past tense.
Example
It is high time they changed their eating habits.
It is high time we did
the work.
On other hand,this
sentense can be completed following another way.Using (to+base form of verb)
”It is high time or it is time” before that.
Example
It is high time to do
the work.
It is time to prepare me
for examination.

part of "as if/as though" is present
tense then The next part will be past indefinite tense And if the first part is past tense then the next part will be past perfect tense.
Example
Mina tells the matter as if she knew it.
Shawon told the matter as if he had known it.

Romana proceeded as though i had not spoken.
Note: "were"
will sit after (as though /as
if)in case the sentence express unreal past of to
be.

"Let alone
"means can't think.Generally for expressing negative meaning it is used.
Example
You can't pass in the third division, let alone in the first division.
I can't swim a kilometer, let alone ten kilometers.
The poor man can't visit a small town, let alone a big city.
I have not decided on the menu yet,let alone an ice cream.

Who,which,that,whom,whose
are mainly known as relative pronoun. If there is any relative
pronoun in any incomplete sentence then verb will position after Relative pronoun in accordance with antecedent.
Example
He saw the man who was catching fish.
This is the house that he wants to buy.
The writer took a cabin which was small.
The man whom you met yesterday is my brother.
Mim is my friend whose sister is a doctor.

"Time has
been for working any task"
if it means then It is high time for+object +infinitive +_______sit.
Example
It is time to start the work.
It is time to leave the place.
It is time for us to attack the enemy.

It is high time+subject+past subjective+________.
Example
It is high time, we went home.
It is high time they earned their livelihood.
But for expressing excessive pressure "it is high time" will
sit instead of"it is time".but after subject past tense of verb will
sit in both.
